UNICEF in Serbia seeks a Child Sensitive Data Management Assistant to support the Serbian Commissariat for Refugees and Migration (SCRM). This role involves enhancing migration data quality and accuracy, focusing on children’s needs and well-being.
Key Responsibilities:
Data Systems and Analysis:
- Assess and analyze current migration data management systems, ensuring reflection of children's needs.
- Improve data management procedures, including collection and reporting practices.
Data Quality and Reporting:
- Ensure high-quality, accurate reporting of child-sensitive migration data.
Stakeholder Engagement:
- Promote child and gender-sensitive data practices among stakeholders.
Procedure Development:
- Design consultative assessments and gap analyses.
- Formulate proposals for data procedure enhancements.
Requirements:
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in data management, statistics, social sciences, or related fields.
- High school diploma with 5 years of relevant experience in refugee/migrant response may also be considered.
Experience:
- Minimum 1 year of experience in two or more of the following areas: data management, migration, social protection, child protection, emergency response.
- Familiarity with child-sensitive data management and international standards is an asset.
Skills:
- Strong proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Fluency in written and spoken Serbian; advanced-level English.
