Deputy Manager of Legal Department

For our client, Serbia Zijin Copper d.o.o., one of the leading copper and precious metals producers in Serbia and a member of the international Zijin Mining Group, we are looking for an experienced professional to join the Legal Department in the position of:

Deputy Manager of Legal Department

Key Responsibilities:

·        Providing professional and operational support to the Head of the Legal Department

·        Coordinating and organizing the Legal Department's activities in cooperation with other organizational units

·        Drafting, reviewing, and revising contracts and other legal documentation

·        Providing legal advice and opinions to management on various legal matters

·        Monitoring and ensuring compliance with applicable legislation and internal company regulations

·        Participating in contract negotiations, preparation, and execution

·        Representing the company before courts, administrative authorities, and other relevant institutions

·        Cooperating with local and international teams while providing legal support to various business functions across the company

·        Participating in strategic decision-making processes and contributing to the continuous improvement of business operations

Qualifications:

·        University degree in Law

·        Passed Serbian Bar Exam and Serbian Judicial Exam

·        Minimum of 10 years of relevant professional experience

·        Previous experience working within large and complex industrial organizations is considered an advantage

·        Previous experience in team leadership or coordinating the work of colleagues is considered an advantage

·        Excellent knowledge of Labour Law, Law of Obligations (Contract Law), Corporate Law, and related legal fields

·        Advanced English language skills, both written and spoken

·        Proficiency in Microsoft Office
